If you’re a big Tigers fan or if you’ve got rugby mad little ones at home then the club have got some fun activities lined up for you over the Easter holiday.
Starting on Thursday 13 April head down to Highcross where Tigers will be on the loose. Taking place throughout the day Nottingham Building Society will be there with various members of the Tigers squad for you to grab a selfie with and you can even get your photo taken with the Anglo-Welsh Cup! They’ll be running plenty of competitions to win signed goodies throughout the day as well as having official merchandise on sale. Head to the Lower Level outside Hotel Chocolat for all the action.
On Friday 14 April they’ll be opening up their training session for a special Good Friday event meaning that you can go down and get a real insight into how they prepare for a game. The training will take place at Welford Road and is free to attend. The gates open at 10am and the Tigers players will be training on the pitch from 11am-12pm. Thereafter players will be available pitch side for a short autograph session and chance to grab a selfie. Whilst you’re there you can also enjoy a tour of the ground and there’ll be an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. The training session is free to attend but please register your place on the Leicester Tigers website.
After all that fun it’s match day on Saturday 15 April as Leicester Tigers take on Newcastle Falcons at Welford Road. Tickets for the match are on general sale and are available from the Leicester Tigers website.
