The Forge in Glenfield really is a brilliant Leicestershire pub and now it’s set to get even better.
Not only has the pub very recently re-opened their popular Blacksmiths Deli, but from this weekend they’ll be launching their new wood-fired pizza kitchen, The Pizza Shed.
The new pizza offering will be available for takeaway every Saturday from 12pm – 9pm, with a menu of Neapolitan pizzas, proved for 24 hours and wood-fired at 450 degrees.
The menu sounds fantastic.
And you can also choose a crust dipping sauce from fresh pesto, jalapeno & mint, blue cheese and garlic aioli.
The Pizza Kitchen will open on Saturdays alongside Blacksmiths Deli, which is open from 10-4pm Tuesday-Sunday & based just inside the doors of the pub. You can pick up a stunning selection of pub baked breads, award winning savouries, fresh meats, cheeses, chutneys, sauces, pickles and more. You can also enjoy a selection of barista prepared coffees, hot chocolates & Hoogly teas. The pub’s legendary hothob baguettes are also available for takeaway.
