The Old Horse is set to re-open this month following an extensive refurbishment under its new owners.
The historic pub, which sits in a prominent position on the border of Victoria Park, is now part of the independent Beautiful Pubs Collective, alongside The Forge, The Rutland & Derby and Knight & Garter.
This collaborative project has seen over £1million jointly invested between Beautiful Pubs and Everards of Leicestershire, as they look to maintain the pub’s rich history whilst introducing a new look and feel throughout the interior and outdoor spaces.
As well as thoughtfully reimagined interior spaces, including a proper bar featuring retro Guinness dispense and a selection of traditional ciders, there will be a new dining area with an open pizza kitchen, an enhanced drinks selection and an all-day dining menu including pub toasties. The Old Horse is also home to Leicester’s biggest pub garden, and this has been a focal point of the refurbishment with new outdoor bar and other features to be unveiled.
We’ve got a first look at the new menus for the pub, which include pub snacks, pub classics, pizza and Sunday lunch. You can see the menus in full below.
