Leicester’s booming food scene is set for another boost when Cured opens this week. Cured is based inside Brewdog and will be all about the meat! Meat that’s been cured in Brewdog’s own beers, no less.

On Friday 2 September they’ll be celebrating their opening with samples floating around throughout the day for you to enjoy a get a real taster of what they offer.

So what can you expect from the menu? Highlights include the brisket and onion rueben with cured brisket and caramelised onions, sides of maple candied bacon and even cured salmon pastrami. Veggie? No problem, they have some great meat free alternatives with bbq pulled jackfruit, avocado and coconut “bacon”, or grilled halloumi, butternut squash and chilli jam on brioche.

They’ve also got big plans for Sundays as they launch their weekly Hangover Club. Ever wished you had the perfect escape to get out the house, eat your weight in food, not have to dress up and not be judged? Haven’t we all. Now you have it, every Sunday, upstairs at Brewdog!

The team behind Cured have great experience on the Leicester food scene and some of you may recognize the faces from the hugely popular Smokehouse at The O Bar.

Cured are opening on Friday 2 September at midday. Pop down for some free tasters and get liking them on Facebook.
