Summer’s not over yet, and Canteen is back with an amazing line up for August which celebrates the best in global street food. This month they’ll be hosting the launch party for Journeys Festival, so expect some great entertainment, activities, music and comedy alongside the fabulous food. This month’s event takes place on Friday 25 August from 5pm at the LCB Depot and will be followed, for the first time, by the Cultural Quarter Social Club party at Chutney Ivy (more info below!)
As always, their resident DJs will be spinning the tunes with Fitz in the Cafe and The Promised Land’s Mr Hickford in the Courtyard.

Boutique Bar
Taking control of the boutique bar this month is a bartender who worked his way up through the ranks, studying and working in Leicester for 8 years with appearances in a selection of old school venues, after which he made the move to work in London in a small but highly regarded cocktail bar called LAB. He tenured here for almost 3 years starting as a bar back and working his way up to the role of manager. Expect some classics and an amazing Pornstar Slushie! We welcome this month… Shiv Lal
Cultural Quarter Social Club
Canteen in association with Chutney Ivy is proud to launch a new event that incorporates great music, excellent cocktails and an easy laid back vibe. From 9pm-2am with Canteen DJs Fitz and Mr Hickford get in the party spirit at our very own Buena Vista Social Club. Tickets are just £5 and include a complimentary drink on arrival to celebrate the launch plus entry into a draw to win a meal voucher for dinner for six people with the Chutney Ivy Feast menu (total value £167.70 not including drinks).
